This piece was created by drilling the holes for the binding into the soles of a pair of my son's shoes. The images on the pages are photographs of the ground and floors around our house, printed on with the iconic design from the soles of the shoes. The "covers" and pages are bound with shoe leather chord with a coptic binding method.
